She gasped, moaned and cried out as she dropped down on his cock and came hard. He watched the flush rise up from her chest, over her neck and into her cheeks. Her head fell forward, her mouth parted as she whimpered, and her whole body quaked and quivered. Her pussy walls undulated and juices dripped down to his balls as she covered him with her cum.
Heath growled and shoved up into her hard and fast three more times before he, too, reached his peak. He shouted as cum shot up his shaft, out the head of his dick and into the tip of the condom.
Jewel collapsed on top of him and he wrapped his arms around her, holding her tight as they both came down from their orgasmic highs.
He’d never felt so contented yet elated, and knew it was all because of the woman in his arms. She was his home and he was going to do everything he could to make her want to stay. Losing her wasn’t an option.
* * * *
Reilly Smooth breathed deeply as he exited the prison. He’d hated being cooped up in that hellhole, but he played contriteness and the good boy to the letter. The stupid psychologist had bought everything that had come out of his mouth and it had paid off.
Of course, he was supposed to touch base with a parole officer, but that wasn’t going to happen. As he’d lain awake on the lumpy bunk each night, he’d imagined what he was going to do to Jewel when he found her.
His best mate Kenny Schneider was handy on a computer and had been able to find Jewel and her stupid Kombi-van on CCTV cameras. He just hoped that Kenny would want to come along as he went after that slut. It would be more fun with his buddy by his side, but Kenny could be fickle sometimes and he wasn’t sure if he could convince his mate to go with him.
He glanced around the parking lot looking for Kenny’s SUV, and just as he spotted the black car, Kenny tooted the horn and waved his arm out of the window. He smiled and hurried toward his friend, all the while laughing inside at what dumb-arses the prison wardens and the psych were. He had only done three weeks of the three-month sentence. Even he knew the justice and rehabilitation system was a joke, but for once, he was glad of it.
“Hey, mate,” Kenny said as Reilly got into the passenger seat.
“Hi. Did you sell my ute, horse float and horse like I asked you to?”
“Sure did.” Kenny grinned at him. “Got fifteen grand in cash in the glove compartment.”
Reilly opened it and pulled out wads of money, stuffing what he could into the pocket of his jeans. He peeled off a couple hundred dollars from the last bundle and handed them to Kenny.
“Thanks. I appreciate everything you’ve done for me.”
“No problem, Reilly. You’re my best mate. You know I’d do anything to help you out.”
Reilly had only worked on the cattle station for three years, but he and Kenny had clicked right away. It helped that the man was computer-smart but dumb in every other aspect of life. He should feel bad for playing on the guy’s gullibility, but he didn’t.
Kenny had had wealthy parents, but after they had died in an accident, he’d sold all his mum and dad’s stocks and bonds. The only thing he had left was a large house in one of the elite suburbs in Melbourne, which was kept up by a housekeeper and her husband, who tended to the gardens.
Kenny had told him his life story the first week Reilly had been hired on to the Hench Cattle Station, and from that moment on, he’d stuck close to the man. At first, Reilly couldn’t work out why Kenny would want to work as a stockman when he could be living in the lap of luxury, but the man had finally told him he was lonely and had decided to change his whole outlook on life. He’d told him how he loved the simpler aspect of life and how money couldn’t buy him happiness, but Reilly knew that was dead wrong.
Plus, Kenny had saved up all the money he’d earned over the last five years working for the Hench’s. Reilly was hoping he could get his friend to hand over some of that cash and maybe even get him to put him in his will. Kenny had no other living relatives and Reilly planned to off the naïve fool as soon as he got what he wanted.
He just had to continue playing his cards right, and then he would be the one living in the lap of luxury. But first, he needed to find and kidnap Jewel, because she was going to be in his life whether she wanted to or not.
“Do you know where my girl is?”
“Last I looked, she was driving through Daylesford in Victoria.”
“So are you gonna come with?”
“I need to know why you want to see her, Reilly. Are you sure she was into all that rough stuff? Surely if she was, she wouldn’t have had you arrested and charged?”
“Nah, that wasn’t Jewel. That was those fucking grazier bosses’ doing. They shouldn’t have stuck their sticky noses into our business.”
“Why do you want to find her?”
“I need to apologise to her. Those arseholes saw her naked and bruised up. She ran because she was embarrassed about being caught out in a kinky situation. I just need to make sure she’s okay,” Reilly said and gave Kenny his saddest puppy dog look.
“If she’s ashamed, do you really think she’d want to see you again?”
Reilly turned his head away and clenched his teeth. Maybe Kenny wasn’t as dumb as he looked. He rubbed his eyes until they got sore and welled with moisture before looking back at his friend, and reached into his front shirt pocket. He pulled the small piece of note paper out and handed it to Kenny. “Does this answer your questions?”
He watched his mate’s face intently as the dumb-arse read the note he’d asked one of the other inmates to write, just in case his friend was reticent about believing him. He knew every word by heart since he’d compiled the damn thing.
Reilly, I’m sorry I had to leave. I couldn’t deal with the embarrassment of being caught out by our bosses. Thank you for not telling everyone what really happened. Come find me as soon as you get out. I can’t live without you. Love, Jewel.
“Wow, she really loves you, man. You’re a lucky bastard.” Kenny clapped him on the shoulder and smiled widely. “She’s a looker, that one. If you hadn’t warned me off, telling me that she was yours a couple of months ago, I would have made a play for her myself.”
Reilly faked a smile as a jealous rage raced through his body, pumping his muscles up in preparation of fighting, but he couldn’t do anything to Kenny yet. He would bide his time, and when he had what he wanted, he would kill the stupid fucker.
It didn’t matter how long it took, he would have everything Kenny owned and live the high life. Jewel would be tied to his bed for his use, and when he got sick of her, he would get rid of her, too.
“Okay, I’m in,” Kenny said and handed the paper back to him.
“Have you given notice?”
“Yeah. I was at the point where I needed a change. Maybe once you’ve seen Jewel, we can go to my house in Toorak and live it up for a bit. I’ve been thinking of settling down for a while. I want to meet a nice woman, get married and start a family.
“Do you think you and Jewel will get married?”
Not in this fucking lifetime.
“If she’s agreeable. Sure, why not?” Reilly smiled and sighed with relief as Kenny started his SUV and drove away from the prison. He looked back over his shoulder and shuddered. There was no fucking way he would ever go back to a place like that. He’d rather be dead.
Because of that fucking bitch, he’d been raped while he was incarcerated, and he was going to make sure she paid for what he been through.
And so much more.
Chapter Ten
“Do your men make love to you at the same time?” Jewel asked Tiffany as they sat on the porch, sipping on glasses of wine while the men cooked on the barbeque at the far end of the porch.
“Hell yes,” Tiffany answered with a dreamy, carnal smile on her face.
“Does it hurt?”
“The first couple of times are certainly uncomfortable, but hurt, not really.” Tiffany nodded toward the men. “They haven’t taken you that way yet?”
“No. I th
ink they’re a little worried that I won’t like it, or that they’ll hurt me. They are so overprotective sometimes.”
“Oh yeah.” Tiff rolled her eyes. “I can attest to that. The men of this town treat women like fragile little princesses, but let me tell you, none of us are like that in the least.
“I want you and your men to come to the Four Passion Club Friday night so you can meet some of the other women in ménages. We women have to stick together you know. The more of us that can stand up to our men the better.”
“They’re not my men,” Jewel whispered as she looked over at Benjy parked near the side of the house. She felt so much better now that she had her Kombi van back. Tiffany had done a great job on fixing him and he was running better than he ever had.
“You keep telling yourself that, honey. You might just end up believing it. If you could see the way they look at you and the way you look at them, there would be no doubt in your mind. Every time your eyes alight on them, I can see the way you love them.”
Jewel felt the blood drain from her face when she realised she was happier than she’d ever been in her life. It had been three weeks since she’d come to work for the Handley men and she could envision herself staying. Forever.
Oh fuck! I am in love with them.
She glanced at Tiff when she patted her arm. “You didn’t realise until just now, did you?”
Jewel shook her head and took a sip of wine to ease the dryness in her throat. Her heart was pounding in her chest and she started panting. She lifted the glass to her mouth and drained it in one go.
“Are you all right, baby?”
She looked up to see Finch frowning down at her. She cleared her throat and glanced over at Tiffany to see her smirking. She met Finch’s eyes when he squatted down in front of her and cupped her face between his hands.
“You’re really pale. Have you got a headache?”
“No. I’m fine. Just a little tired.”
“Meat’s done,” Ash called out.
Jewel sighed with relief at the distraction. Finch stood up and then helped her to her feet. She and Tiffany had already made the salads to go with the steaks and homemade hamburgers she’d made earlier that afternoon.
“Everything’s ready. I just need to get the bread rolls from the oven.”
“Sounds good, baby. I’m starving.” Finch opened the door and stepped back so she and Tiff could enter the house first.
Everyone converged in the dining room and filled their plates with food before they started eating.
“I’ve invited Jewel and you guys to the Four Passion Club Friday night. I want her to meet some of the other women,” Tiffany explained. “And you guys have been working so hard, it’s been months since you’ve had a night out.”
“That’s a great idea.” Ash smiled. “We’ll be there.”
“Good.”
“Did I thank you for fixing Benjy?” Jewel asked.
“About a dozen times. Payment of your bill was thanks enough. I loved working on that old guy. The older cars and vans are so much simpler to fix than some of the later models, with all their technology and computers. It was nice for a change.”
“What made you paint a moustache on Benjy, darlin’?” Cal asked with a smile.
“I don’t know. I just thought of him as a guy and decided he needed a little character.”
“It certainly has that,” Heath said. “I never expected to see a rainbow-coloured Kombi in this day and age.”
“Why not?” Jewel bit out, feeling a little hurt at his comment.
“Hey, I wasn’t being contumelious, darlin’. I was just trying to be funny.”
“I can’t believe you know that word, too.” Jewel had just learnt something new about Heath. He obviously had a wider vocabulary than she’d thought.
“What did you just say?” Todd asked.
“You got that word off of that ad on TV for the spelling competition, didn’t you?” Tiff smirked at Heath.
“Yeah.” He chuckled. “How did you guess?”
“Because when I heard it, I had to go look it up,” Tiffany said.
“Would one of you like to fill the rest of us in?” Matt asked.
“Contumelious means to be insulting or vitriolic,” Jewel explained.
“Did you see the ad, too?” Ash asked.
“No,” Jewel answered.
“You are a lot smarter than you led us to believe, aren’t you, baby?” Finch asked.
Jewel shrugged. She’d never been stupid, but she didn’t think of herself as smart. She liked using lots of different words, but working where she had for the last eight years hadn’t enabled her to use a wide vocabulary. Maybe she and Heath could make a game of it and throw words at each other.
She frowned when she realised she wasn’t planning on moving on. She’d never settled too long in one place, but the thought of leaving Passion and the Handley men cut her to the quick. She was in deep shit. Jewel was very much in love with Ash, Cal, Heath and Finch, and although Tiffany had said that they were in love with her, she wasn’t so sure.
Yes, she’d seen them looking at her with lust in their eyes and they had told her they thought she could be the woman they wanted to spend their life with, but not once had any of them told her how they felt.
Tiffany could be reading way more into this than there was, and Jewel didn’t want to get her hopes up only to be cut back down to size. It would hurt way too much to reveal how she felt about them and not have her love reciprocated, so there was no way in hell she was going to tell them how much they meant to her.
The evening was over far too early, as far as she was concerned. Although she looked forward to crawling into bed with her men, she was also scared she would give herself away somehow.
Jewel felt like she couldn’t give in to the happiness she was feeling, because for some reason, she knew something was going to put a spanner in the works and she would be taken away, or would have to leave. She hated feeling the way she did and wondered if it was because she had become so used to running that she didn’t know how to stop.
If the men told her how they felt, she would be able to decide if it was worth hanging around and seeing if this relationship was going to work. It had for Tiffany, Matt and Todd, and apparently, quite a few other women in Passion were head over heels in love with more than one man.
She wanted what Tiffany and the other women had so much, but she’d never been one to put her emotions out there for anyone to see.
Jewel waved as Tiffany, Matt and Todd got into their truck.
“See you Friday, Jewel,” Tiff yelled out her open window, waved and closed the window again. She watched as the taillights grew smaller and then disappeared altogether.
“Are you all right, sweetheart?” Ash asked as he wrapped an arm around her waist.
“Just a little tired. Why?”
“You just don’t seem your usual self, that’s all.”
Jewel shrugged and drew out of Ash’s hold. “I’m good, but I am looking forward to a good night’s sleep.” As she walked inside, she was aware of all four men watching her, but she pretended she didn’t notice.
She headed toward the bedroom, and after a quick shower and donning her large cotton sleep shirt, she crawled into bed and closed her eyes. Although the bedroom door was partially closed, she could hear the rumble of their voices as they talked. Jewel wondered if they were talking about her and frowned. She was feeling a little moody tonight and didn’t really want any company, but she knew there was no way that they were going to leave her alone. At least two of the men slept with her every single night since the first time they’d made love, and even though she would love to have them touching and cuddling with her, she also felt a little bitchy.
Maybe she was feeling snarky because her period was due. She thought back to the last time she’d had it and drew in a breath when she realised it had been in the hospital after that arsehole had attacked her. If her calculations were correct, it had been near
ly five weeks since the last time she’d menstruated, and that alarmed her because she was lucky—or unlucky—enough to be as regular as clockwork. She hoped that the condoms the men had worn as they made love to her hadn’t failed, because the last thing she needed right now was to be pregnant, although thinking about holding her baby in her arms brought tears to her eyes, and to her consternation, they spilled over and tracked down her cheeks. She sniffed and wiped the tears onto the quilt and tried to get her emotions under control.
What the hell is wrong with you, girl? You are never this emotional. Suck it up, princess.
She hated that princess saying, but it didn’t stop her from using it on herself often. One of the women who’d worked at the children’s home hadn’t had a maternal or caring bone in her body, and she’d often said that when one of the kids had gotten hurt and started to cry.
The only time Jewel had cried at the place had been the last. She’d decided burying her emotions down deep and not feeling at all was more prudent than being seen as weak. It had worked to a degree, but now that she was closer to people than she’d ever been before, she was becoming more emotional. All her feelings were at the surface and she didn’t know how to handle feeling so much. Sometimes she felt like she was going to explode and wouldn’t be able to put herself back together again.
She was scared that if she let her emotions have free reign, she wouldn’t be able to box them back up again.
It didn’t matter that she loved Ash, Cal, Heath and Finch. She needed to remain cool and calm. And if she was pregnant, well, she’d have to work out what she was going to do. She wasn’t sure about anything right now, so what was the use in worrying?
Jewel planned to head into town and to the pharmacy to pick up one of those pregnancy tests. She didn’t know anyone other than Tiffany and her husbands and the Handley men, so it should be safe enough. She needed a few things anyway, and she was sure that they would give her a couple of hours to do some shopping.
When she heard footsteps heading down the hall she closed her eyes again and tried to regulate her breathing. As much as she loved making love to her guys, she wasn’t feeling up to it tonight, but she knew that if any of her men touched or kissed her in a sexual way, she would immediately be aroused.
