She’s been wearing our fucking collar, for Christ’s sake. If she thinks she can just walk away from what we have, she has another thing coming.”

  “So what are we going to do to get her back?” Barry stopped his pacing and pinned Turner with his eyes.

  “God, I don’t fucking know. I have no clue when it comes to Charlene. She has me tied up so much inside I feel like my gut is one large ball of string.”

  “We can’t let her leave tonight. Not with how upset she is.”

  Turner sighed and strode toward the door, glancing back toward him as he tugged on the door handle. “We are going to go and sit at that bar and try and get back into her good graces. If she is still standoffish by the time her shift ends, then she stays here with us.”

  “You can’t make her stay if she doesn’t want to, Turner. God, you can be such an arrogant asshole.”

  Turner flipped him off and then his shoulders slumped as he sighed again. “I know I can’t, but if I tell her she is going to stay she will comply. Haven’t you noticed she obeys our every command?”
